Possible Season Change: High School & Club
To begin the growth needed to become a sanctioned sport in Utah. The Utah High School Water Polo Association is looking at creating a High School League and Club League for the 2020 Spring Season.
High School League
The High School League will follow UHSAA policies and regulations. Which means that you must attend the high school to play for the High School. Herriman High School will continue to sponsor a high school team, under the direction of the Herriman High Club rules and regulations. The High School Team will only participate in sanctioned High School tournaments and state tournament. They will not travel or participate in any club tournaments.
Herriman Water Polo Club
The Herriman Water Polo Club will focus on participating in the Utah Cup League. This league will be very similar to the former high school water polo setup, however there will be more opportunities to play and participate.
The Herriman Water Polo Club will be focusing on traveling and participating in several tournaments. Pleas see the Water Polo Club Link for more details.
We welcome all athletes to be a part of the Herriman Water Polo Club . We will not turn any athlete way. Athletes do not need to participate in any of the leagues to be able to have a chance to play with Herriman Water Polo Club. However, participation does increase the opportunities and improvement of the athletes.
